About Caitlyn
- Caitlyn Emelie Wright was born at 11:00 am on Monday, November 6th 2006.
- At birth she weighed exactly 8 pounds 14 and a half ounces.
- She waves like the queen.
- She loves to sing songs with the words "Dadada", "Mamama", "Bababa" and "Ohhhhhhhh" as the only lyrics.
- She loves to dance.
- She really loves her Mommy, Daddy, Brother and Sisters.
- Her Mommy, Daddy, Brother and Sisters really love her.
About This Site
This site was created as a way for Joanne and Nicholas Wright (me) to keep up with all of the changes Caitlyn was making.
It all started because both of us kept trying to log Caitlyn's day to day life via camcorders and photos, but it was a daunting task (especially for me as I have a rather severe case of ADHD, or at least that's my excuse..) so we came up with the idea of a photo blog that would allow Joanne to take and upload a new photo of Caitlyn every day.
Unfortunately the length of time between coming up with the idea and actually taking the time to implement it was rather vast, and it wasn't until Caitlyn's 8 month birthday (yes we celebrate month milestones) that I felt horrible enough for putting it off so long that I did something about it.
Thus, on July 7th, 2007, I took a few hours out of my not so action packed day off to create this site. While it was made for personal reasons, we do invite you to look around or even comment on some photos.
This site is powered by a heavily modified version of Gullery, Ruby, Rails and PostgreSQL. Oh, and who can forget love?
